Noble Rot (Identity; Print & Web Design)

Noble Rot is named after a specific variant of grey fungus (Botrytis Cinerea) infected grapes that are used to create particularly strong and sweet wines. Established initially as a wine bar which served seasonal small plates, the restaurant has evolved into a fine-ish dining establishment that offers a locally sourced & seasonally strict full course menu, a comprehensive list of cocktails, and a global wine selection.

The Goal

The identity for this rebrand was imagined as refined and ornate while still maintaining a connection to Noble Rot’s roots and ethos. To accomplish this the visual language of the brand was pared down so that the information felt digestible and authentic to the brand in its current itteration. The goal was to present a quiet confidence—leaving room for experimentation and quirk while staying true to the principles Noble Rot was founded on.
